As you probably know, British strawberries have been their biggest and best this year due to some perfect weather conditions (apparently they are so big that some are saying they’re ‘too big to fit in your mouth’ 😐), so M&S have grabbed their biggest and best strawberries and stuffed them into a sandwich for a Japanese-inspired sweet treat. The Red Diamond strawberries are so popular at M&S that they sell 4.1m punnets each year!
The limited-edition dessert sando is made with their super juicy and sweet Collection British Red Diamond™ Strawberries, lightly whipped cream cheese, and beautifully presented in fluffy sweetened bread.
It takes inspiration from Japanese patisseries, where strawberries and cream sweet sandos are viral with queues out the door, so the time finally came for M&S to create their version of the ultimate strawberries and cream experience – and perfect timing with Wimbledon starting next week!
