Ingredients

1 cup almond powder, ½ cup milk, ½ cup sugar, 4 tsp ghee, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, a few saffron strands

Cooking instructions

  • For an instant treat at home, add the almond powder, sugar and milk in a pan. Mix it with a spatula. The mixture will be crumbly initially. Keep stirring the mixture and scrape the sides.
  • Cook until the almond mixture starts to thicken and leave the pan. Add a few saffron strands and soak the saffron in 1 tbsp of warm milk. Add it to the mix along with 2 tsp of ghee and cardamom powder.
  • Cook for a minute, and once the halwa starts leaving the sides of the pan, serve the badam halwa and enjoy!

  • To prepare this peda instantly at home, start by melting butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add the sweetened condensed milk and milk powder to the melted butter. Mix well. Ensure that you’re microwaving for 3 minutes.
  • Now, apply some ghee on palms and prepare flat balls from the mixture. Don’t forget to place a pistachio in the centre. Repeat with the rest of the mixture. Store the peda in the fridge, enjoy!

1 ½ cups almond meal, ¼ cup maple syrup, 2 tbsp coconut oil, ¼ cup dark chocolate chips, pinch of sea salt, vanilla extract, 1 scoop ice cream, 1 ripe banana

  • To prepare this sandwich at home, preheat the oven and line the tin with a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add 1 ½ cups almond meal, maple syrup and 1 tbsp coconut oil to a mixing bowl.
