Cafe Berlin earned first place, best sandwich and fan favorite in the friendly, plant-based monthlong competition. Curry-osity won second place and best appetizer while Le Bao Asian Eatery took home third place and best noodle dish.

An offshoot of a nationwide initiative, the local challenge enlisted restaurants to share and promote their best vegan dishes in July, then open voting up to diners.

  • Best curry: Abbey’s Swahili Delights
  • Best dessert: Elysium
  • Best dumplings: Everest MoMo Hut
