Chapman’s shares the recipe for its burger and two other favorite menu items a month after closing. Plus, two local coffee shops are nominated for USA Today 10 Best Awards.

Columbus Monthly’s Best Restaurants list
What are the best restaurants in Columbus? Here are Columbus Monthly’s choices for 2025
Just one month after closing, Chapman’s Eat Market is back.
Or at least, its famed burger is, if you have both the motivation and the craving. The restaurant’s social media resumed activity to share links to three of the restaurant’s acclaimed recipes: General Tso’s Cauliflower, Maple Budino and, yes, Chapman’s Burger with Chappy Sauce.

The burger recipe is specific about the ingredients—not a surprise if you’ve tried the original at the restaurant. It calls for Duke’s mayo, Mt. Olive sliced dill pickles and a potato brioche bun that is “homemade if possible.” To enjoy as they do in the industry, eating with a “frosty Miller High Life” is recommended.
Don’t have time for that? In-home private chef events can also be booked on the website, so you can have chef BJ Lieberman bring his burger and other beloved recipes to you.
Two area coffee shops up for USA Today 10 Best award
