It finally feels like autumn is in the air, and I am in my element watching trees change to golden, leaves fall, and the seasons change. After five years in California, where season changes were minimal, it’s been a treat to have the seasons back in action, segmenting the year.
That being said, it feels like winter is eight months, spring is one month, two months for summer, and max one month for fall. But that makes it all the more important to enjoy this short-lived season while we can. I’m making dishes that perfectly skirt the line between easy and minimal prep and cozy.
