This is one of the greatest food mashups of all time! You get all the cheesy deliciousness and crisp crust of pizza and the smoky, meaty, spicy flavors of barbecue in every bite. Grilling pizza is a great way to keep all your cooking outdoors and add excellent char to your crust.
Technique tips: Make sure to have your grill set to a medium setting for grilling off the shell then reduce to medium low temp to finish cooking and melt the cheese. If having a hard time finishing the pizza on the grill, you can always transfer the topped pizza to a baking tray and place in a preheated oven set at 425 F to finish cooking.
