Pamela Anderson loves all things with a ‘p’, having starred in Playboy, Pauly Shore Is Dead, Pamela’s Cooking with Love (the Pnaked Pgun?), and is now releasing her own brand of pickles. Why not?
From starring on the big screen with her new Naked Gun paramour Liam Neeson, to maintaining six vegetable gardens and cooking plant-based meals in her Vancouver Island home, everything’s been coming up roses lately for Anderson — and she’s quite literally packed them into every jar of Pamela’s Pickles, a limited-edition batch of spicy, floral cukes made in partnership with Los Angeles lifestyle brand Flamingo Estate.
“I come from a long line of picklers,” Anderson said in a recent interview. “I love roses — food grade, of course — and they go into many of my recipes. I like a hint of spice and a good texture. Pickles go with almost anything and are good for digestion,” she continued. “I eat them straight out of the jar!”
Pamela’s Pickles were specifically inspired by her Great Auntie Vie’s award-winning pickles, the family recipe of which was featured in Anderson’s recent cookbook, “I Love You: Recipes From the Heart“. Packed with dill, mustard, and garlic, Flamingo Estate added their touch to Anderson’s recipe with locally-grown ingredients, contributing regenerative organic Espelette pepper, pink peppercorns, and smoked salt along with her rose petals, of course. Priced at $38 a jar, the end result delivers the perfect balance of sweet heat, floral brightness, and vegetal depth. Think of it like a garden in a jar, only bursting with smoke and spice.

“To be honest, six months ago we didn’t know a ton about pickles other than we liked them,” writes Flamingo Estate Founder Richard Christiansen on the site. “But in this house, when Pamela Anderson calls with an idea, the answer is always a resounding YES. It was such a wonderful surprise to discover another facet of Pamela. She’s a remarkable chef, gardener, and activist. She has big green thumbs and the most wonderful perspective on life of anyone I’ve met. It has been a joy to get to know her, and these pickles are a souvenir of a very happy.”

Like the legendary icon who’s name they share, Pamela’s Pickles are both hot and vegan. Even better yet, these cukes are going towards a good cause — 100% of proceeds from Pamela’s Pickles benefit the California Wildlife Center, a non-profit close to Anderson’s heart. For nearly 30 years, the CWC has rescued, rehabilitated, and released thousands of native wild animals along the California coast, and each jar will help keep that important work going strong.

While you can pick up a jar from the first batch of pickles now online on FlamingoEstate.com, Anderson is just getting starting — she reportedly has even more recipes up her sleeve (including vegan kimchi, radish pickles, and even sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, according to Elle Decor). Spice fiends (and Anderson lovers) everywhere are truly being fed.
