There’s an ongoing recall on a popular Taylor Farms salad kit sold at multiple retailers, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This is due to an undeclared allergen in the product.
The salad affected is the Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit distributed to the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia.
Retailers affected by this recall include Kroger, Walmart and more. The honey balsamic salad has code dates starting with “TFRS” and best-by dates up to and including September 4, 2025, printed on the 8.3-ounce plastic packaging. Check your refrigerator for this kit, and if you have an impacted salad on hand, return it to your place of purchase for a refund.
These salads are being recalled because they may contain the wrong salad dressing. Impacted salads may have an Asian sesame-ginger dressing in the kit instead of the honey balsamic. The Asian sesame-ginger dressing contains sesame and soy, which are undeclared allergens, leading to a serious risk for those with sensitivities or allergies to these foods.
