Tyson has been busy this year with brand-new chicken nugget shapes that are perfect for fall football, but what I always like to have in the freezer is something that can be made quickly when I’m in a serious time crunch. Tyson seems to understand this need, because the brand just launched a new, first-of-its-kind frozen chicken nugget that perfectly fits the bill.
Tyson Releases New Chicken Cups With Frozen Nuggets
Tyson has put a spin on four of its iconic nuggets, creating a new convenient way to eat chicken and a first-of-its-kind product that fans of all ages will enjoy: Chicken Cups.
This new cup format solves the need for those of us looking to fuel our bodies with protein on-the-go. And the frozen cups are ready after just 90 seconds to two minutes in the microwave. The best part? You get at least 30-35 grams of protein per serving, depending on the variety.
Tyson Chicken Cups are available in four new varieties: Grilled Boneless Chicken Bites, Lightly Breaded Boneless Chicken Bites, Mini Dino Nuggets, and Popcorn Chicken.
“There is nothing like the Tyson Chicken Cups on the market,” said Dawanna Bowen, Vice President of Innovation for Tyson Foods, in a recent press release. “They are designed to provide a delicious and satisfying snack that fits seamlessly into busy lifestyles, from the office to the carpool line, and after school activities.”
Tyson’s Chicken Cups are available at Walmart and are rolling out now to other major retailers nationwide. Each cup is sold individually for $3.97. One Walmart shopper shared a photo of the new find on TikTok, which instantly excited others. Someone commented, “32 grams of protein you say?”
“Immediately added to cart!” another exclaimed.
“You shouldn’t have shown me this,” one person wrote. “I’m about to eat these every day.”
Even Tyson commented on the video and said, “Protein game officially upgraded.”
