When you think of a Stromboli, you think of Pacidough’s, Capones, Linda’s, even Pies on 9.
And sure, they all have good stromboli’s, but you can’t get them for five bucks, can you?
Over the weekend, I went to a classic car show in Ocean Gate right down the road from my house.
It was so cool to see all of these old school Cadillacs, Pontiacs, Chevys, Fords, and so much more.

And of course, with any car show, there are food stands.
Steve’s Italian Meats Sells NJ’s Best Strombolis, Hands Down
So, I took a stroll down the main drag of tents to see what there was to eat, and stumbled across Steve’s Italian Meats, from Ocean Gate, NJ.
In addition to freshly made lasagna, sausage, peppers, and amazing desserts, he also had strombolis for sale.
What Types Of Stromboli Does Steve’s Italian Meats Sell?
You could get a chicken parm stromboli, a mac and cheese stromboli, a pepperoni stromboli, or a pulled pork stromboli.
The dough and stromboli were hand-made, and packaged perfectly so that when you take it home, you just put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, and it’s hot, fresh, and ready to go.

The best part is that they’re personal size, so each stromboli is enough to fill you up and then some, and they were only $5 a pop!
I was blown away by the pulled pork stromboli. We also picked up some of his brown sugar cream cheese bites, which were to die for.
I’m eager to order more food from this Italian Food stand because it was absolutely amazing.

Here’s my recipe for the best Stromboli you can get. You’ll need pizza/tomato sauce, cheese (shredded or sliced), dough, and toppings. All in all it should take about 45 minutes from start to finish.
